Chain certifications on a document issued to an Iranian national abroad are authorized signature of an Iranian embassy official or consular officer in that country, seal of the embassy and of the Authentication and Personal Status Authority of the Iranian Foreign Ministry in Tehran with an authorized signature. Only after those authentications have been secured on a foreign official record may the document be translated into Persian and certified by the Iranian Judiciary.
