باربیتورات
With several anesthetics, including barbiturates, isoflurane, sevoflurane, desflurane, propofol, and etomidate, increasing plasma concentrations cause progressive suppression of EEG activity and a con- comitant reduction in the CMR.
When barbiturates are adminis- tered to the point of EEG suppression, a uniform depression in the CBF and CMR occurs throughout the brain.
However, in vivo, barbiturates suppress CMR, and the net effect at the point of EEG suppression is vasoconstriction and a substantial decrease in CBF.78 In general, autoregulation and CO2 responsiveness are pre- served during the administration of intravenous anesthetic drugs.
Barbiturates
A dose-dependent reduction in CBF and CMR occurs with barbiturates.
