Our review will start by clarifying leader humor, distinguishing between trait leader humor (sense of humor and humor styles) and (behavioral) humor expression in terms of their conceptualizations and measures, and provid- ing our critiques.

There are numerous critiques regard- ing the conceptualizations and measures of sense of humor.
Specifically, such problems include the mix of trait humor and (behavioral) humor expression, ambiguity in the conceptualization of humor,
The notion of leader humor currently is ambiguous and thus needs a more precise conceptualization to aid theory construction.،Low, 2001; Zahra and Dess, 2001; Shane and Venkataraman, 2000), we argue that one of the obstacles for understanding the entrepreneurship phenomenon is the lack of integration of different assumptions, units and levels of analysis that are implicit in the different conceptualizations of entrepreneurship underlying current theoretical perspectives, empirical work, and pub- lic policies.
First, we aim to under- stand both the phenomena underlying the different conceptualizations of entrepreneurship and the relationships among those phenomena.
Table 2.1 shows the previous conceptualizations of entrepreneurship and their associated disciplines.
