title deed; deed; original title deed; original document : in Iran, an exhaustive title deed with detailed particulars of landed property and its appurtenances including also numbers of its utilities files with the local departments of water, power, gas, and usually a telephone number printed on a single sheet of standard size that is larger than a folio which, together with the book-form of title deed to same property (both published in universal form and signed and sealed and delivered to owner by a local Instruments and Landed Property Registration Authority of Iran, or by a notary public) is sufficient evidence of a person’s title to subject property and therefore adequate as muniments of title for alienation purposes at a notary public if there are no encumbrances on the property and if taxes and tariffs due to the local municipality and Finance Department have been paid.
