(fiqh) a style of unilaterally revocable nudum pactum in Islamic canon law at which one voluntarily considers a ‘consideration’ for any identified or unidentified person that fulfills a certain act for him or in his stead. In the event, however, the act is actually done by a person other than the person he has named the actor will not be entitled to that consideration.
