counterfeit (used also in its extended sense): fictitious; inventive; invented; spurious; forged; false; manufactured diversity : to manufacture is to make up sometimes with the intent to deceive, it means to invent, fabricate, and manufactured diversity (of citizenship) is the improper or collusively created diversity of citizenship for the sole or primary purpose of obtaining federal jurisdiction; manufactured diversity is prohibited by 28 U.S.C. § 1359 – B
