: دلايل which see • reason : An inducement, motive, or ground for action, as in the phrase “reasons for appeal. In its other sense “a faculty of the mind by which it distinguishes truth from falsehood, good from evil, and which enables the possessor to deduce inferences from facts or from propositions,” (in this latter sense in Persian قوة تميز ) • evidence : 1. A perceptible thing that tends to establish or disprove a fact, including testimony, documents, and other tangible objects 2. The collective mass of things, esp testimony and exhibits, that are presented before a tribunal in a given dispute, )in this latter sense in Persian also مستندات) • proof : 1. The establishment or denial of an alleged fact by evidence; the result of evidence 2. evidence that determines the judgment of the court 3. an attested document that constitutes legal evidence
