n (pl: مجرمين which see, see also (2)مجرم in the main entry below) felon (Compounding – Compounding a felony is where a party robbed or otherwise injured by a felony takes a reward (ie خسارت) from the felon, or in case of theft takes back the stolen goods upon agreement not prosecute – JBS( ● offender; criminal ● delinquent : person who has been guilty of some crime, offense, or failure of duty or obligation ● culprit : 1. one accused of or charged with a crime (in this sense in Persian متهم) 2. one guilty of a crime or a fault : guilty party, offender, wrongdoer, perpetrator, miscreant; criminal, malefactor, felon, lawbreaker, delinquent ● malefactor : one who commits an offense against the law; esp : felon ● convict : (in Persian, more properly محكوم) 1. a person convicted of and under sentence for a crime 2. a person serving a usually long prison sentence ● criminal defendant (also متهم in a proceeding)
