1. Map Selection Table. Air Force Regulation AFR 95-18, USAF Standard Plotting System for Aerial and Radar Scope Photograph, provides standard guidelines for the plotting of imagery. Additional guidelines are provided in table 5-2.
2- In plotting, the interpreter uses a plotting template (See figure 5-12) and a map. Special templates locally produced are helpful when the interpreter is involved with only one imagery sensor and the area coverage is essentially constant. The plotting template used for vertical imagery has four sides graduated in inches and five hundredths of an inch, and it may be adjusted to any combination of lengths and widths from 0.5 × 0.05 inches to 5.00 × 5.00 inches.
