مقدمه
It begins with a prologue (1:1-18)-a passage we often read at Christmastime.
In a sense, this is just as clearly a "prologue" to Book 2 of John's gospel as John 1:1-18 was to Book 1.
In this opening scene, Jesus is "acting out" what the prologue had described in elevated terms:
It had been promised in the prologue: "The Word became flesh . . . and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth" (John 1:14).
Or can words from the prologue (1:1-18) lay claim to this title?
