NTS Linepack Changes Analysis
The amount of gas within the NTS at any time is known as linepack.
Linepack changes within a gas day due to imbalances between the instantaneous inputs into and outputs from the system.
National Grid are incentivised to minimise day to day changes in NTS linepack.
