The subject of ornamental composition coincides with decoration of ceramics produced in the 13th century in Khorasan (Atagarryev, 1986. p. 136).
According to the researchers' opinion the gilding of glazed tiles originated in the Golden Horde towns under influence of the Byzantine art of ornamentation (Noskova, 1976. p. 26).
They are ceramics with transparent glaze, polychrome underglaze ornamentation and relief, articles with blue opaque polychrome overglaze ornaments and pottery with ultramarine and transparent turquoise glaze and underglaze black ornamentation (Yakubovskiy, 1931. pp. 33-37).
It should be noted that the main ornamental motifs of the glazed ceramics of Khorezm and European part of the Golden Horde are similar.
The analogous pictures are, first of all, vegetative (branches of two, four sprouts and six-petalled flower rosette), geometrical (relief 'archs' with blue points) and other ornamental techniques.
