Reduction of phenytoin serum level by simultaneously application of carboplatin with phenytoin, which caused a recurrence of seizures and required an increase of the phenytoin dosage, has been reported.
Therefore, the phenytoin serum level should be checked regularly during Carboplatin Infusion to prevent seizures by dosage adaptation of phenytoin in time.
The phenytoin dosage may have to be adjusted again after treatment.
